Our Services

Hydroseeding

The advantages of our Hydroseeding Service over seeding or sod:

  • Establishes the lawn faster than traditional seeding methods because Hydroseeding prevents seeds from drying out as quickly, allowing them to germinate sooner.
  • Costs over 50%+ less than sod.
  • Requires less water than sod or traditional seed because hydro-mulch holds up to 10 times its weight in water. This leads to fast, healthy germination and high plant survival because seeds are protected with a moisture sealant.
  • Produces a healthier, more resilient lawn by promoting a deeper root system. This avoids potential transplanting problems, such as shallow, poorly anchored roots, that can happen with sod that is not correctly installed.

Site Preparation / Grading

  • Purpose: It refines the site to its final design levels, smoothing out small imperfections after heavy excavation.
  • Process: Involves removing rocks and small lumpy soil chunks, creating precise slopes and often applying a layer of topsoil for plant growth.
  • Timing: Done after rough grading is complete, typically just before landscaping, or paving.
  • Slope Requirements: For proper water management, residential sites often require a 1% to 3% slope away from, buildings.

Drainage Solutions

  • Drainage systems are essential infrastructure designed to remove excess water from surface or subsurface areas, protecting foundations and landscapes. Common types include French drains (subsurface pipes), surface ditches, swales, and channel drains, all designed to divert water away from buildings. They work via gravity, using slope to redirect water from saturated areas to safe outlets like basins or sewers. Key benefits include preventing foundation water damage, soil erosion, and structural flooding.
